A rainy sunday, what to do?

So as I woke up today it was sunday, and raining. I really like the rain but I hate sundays, see I've got all the time this nagging feeling that it's monday tomorrow and I'll have to get up early again. Anyway, it's raining and I'm wondering what should I do and I end up reading about the Rainmeter. One thing leads to another and the next thing I know I'm modding my windows appearance like crazy. If you want to know more about the Rainmeter go here. Here's a screen of what I came up with:
It's not perfect I know, but it's a start and I'm quite proud that I managed to pull it off. I didn't use any custom widgets but it's still pretty nice looking. Using Rainmeter proved surprisingly easy and with a little effort anyone can create a more eye-pleasing desktop. You can find more widgets and skins for the Rainmeter for example in deviantART. However once I got the spark I didn't stop there, oh no.

I found this cool looking Windows 7 visual style in deviantArt as well and had to get my system look like it. Installing it was a wee bit more challenging, the process itself is simple as hell but I had the urge to get my system this sexy look so I accidently the whole system... I replaced my explorer.exe with 32bit version of it and boy did windows like it. I spent the whole afternoon trying to solve the problem why my windows wouldn't start anymore. Finally I managed to repair the damage done using the internal repair tool in win7. Windows themes are often in packs with both 32bit and 64bit files so if you want to have yourself a more visually appealing OS please learn from my mistakes and do check the version of files you're installing ;)
